DJ Sparks has been playing for just over 6 years. His career started off in Tunbridge Wells playing for Defcon Records, he then set up his own promotion team called ‘Beats on Toast’ in 2001 Beats on Toast hosted a number of nights in Kent showcasing such UK talent as Ironbridge, Phonetics, Digitek, Hard Livin, Twisted Link, Ill Psychosis, Natty, Chameleon Records and Baggyflag Records. Sparks has played at various venues up and down the country including Brighton, London, Birmingham, Maidstone, Chichester, Guildford and Tunbridge Wells. He started doing radio on the Dusty Crates show in 2003 with The Last Skeptik, Sparks then went solo hosting the show for a year and he is now back for more with a new show, The Beat Fiends radio show playing a whole range of Hip Hop from all eras and variety of styles.
