Born to a family of Canadian Ewoks, Phill got lost when he was a tot, during a family outing in the foothills of the Rockies. It was there that Mr & Mrs Nathan, then tourists on holiday, decided to adopt him, and take him back with them to Britain. They snuck him through customs inside a hockey bag.

Phill never knew he was adopted until the age of sixteen. He found out his true history, by reading an old newspaper article filed away in the attic (he was looking for the way to Amarillo at the time). Ever since, he has been presenting at various radio stations, and currently uses GU2 to send out his subliminal message over the airwaves in the hope of tracking down his real family.

In the meantime he occasionally goes home so his mother can do his washing.
