Jason Hough, also affectionately dubbed ‘The Soundshark’ is a Media student part time and music obsessive full time. What time he doesn’t spend listening to music, he talks about music, eats music, drinks music, breathes music and often plays video games to pass time, which he later proceeds to obtain the soundtracks from. He occasionally sings a bit too, much to everyone’s distress. He also currently stands as Deputy Head of Sound Production and DJs on an irregular basis, as he attempts to muscle his way into a dream job in the music industry.
After practically being born to the tune of ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and Tim Wheeler of Ash showed him the red pill, Jason theoretically has liquid rhythm running through his veins. But he always looks to conquer new challenges and further other skills he has been carrying with him his whole life. From doodles to writing, to graphic design and his own radio show, this eccentric character always looks to put his idiosyncratic mark on everything he does.
Plus, Dave Grohl once said he would make out with him. If that isn’t a mark of love, respect or dedication, who knows what is.
