Katie, a second year media student, is living with her four bed-ridden housemates in a dilapidated student house in a town known as Guildford.
One day, Katie and her housemates, along with the rest of the world, learn that the local candy maker Willy Wonka has hidden five Golden Tickets in his Wonka Bars. The finders of these special tickets will be given a full tour of his candy factory, as well as a lifetime supply of chocolate. Surprisingly Katie won. Wonka finally told Katie at the end of her tour that her actual prize was not just the chocolate, but the factory itself.
AND this is why some say she is a bit too addicted to chocolate. On the serious side you can usually find her chatting away to someone, in fact anyone or you can listen to her chatter away on weekday mornings 8-10am on the GU2 Breakfast Show.
Looking forward to this year Katie is taking on the challenge of working as Assistant Station Manager with Andy Smith to make GU2 even more of a beautiful place to be.
